As a Senior Software Engineer, Backend at Camunda, you'll take ownership of automated reliability testing and chaos engineering at the core of Camunda 8, breaking things on purpose to strengthen our platform before customers ever feel the impact.
If you’re passionate about pushing the limits of reliability, fault-tolerance, and operational excellence in complex distributed systems, this role offers the perfect stage. You’ll design, implement, and execute automated chaos experiments and reliability tests, validating Camunda’s platform under real-world scenarios.
Working with tools like Java, Go, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana, you’ll continuously improve load testing, chaos engineering, and observability infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with QA and engineering teams, sharing learnings and influencing roadmaps based on experiment findings, while championing a pragmatic, autonomous approach to software design.
